Yindee

Yindee (which means ‘pleasure’) was born at ENP on August 25th 2013.  He is a very lucky boy as he will never have his spirit broken or work a day in his life. His mother is Mintra and his father is Jungle Boy.   Nannies Malai Tong and Porn Sawan and gran-nannies Mae Jarunee and Mae Jampaa are never too far away. His favourite playmates are Dok Mai and Faa Mai. Once he is older, we hope to be able to release him (and our other young healthy elephants) to a semi-wild environment where he can live to his fullest potential.

Mintra’s best friend, Jampaa, was a bit jealous of Yindee at first, but now with so many other caretakers, she accepts him.
