SEF loves BTS – Bangkok Transit System now huge supporter!!

In late September Khun Keeree Kanjanapas, the CEO of the Bangkok Transit System announced that they would provide lifelong support in the amount of 30,000 baht a month for ten of the elephants who reside at Elephant Nature Park! This is one of the most exciting developments SEF has announced this year. We are very thankful to Khun Keeree and the BTS for their generosity  to help support the rescued elephants in our care.

The BTS is a very socially responsible corporation which supports projects that care for disabled children, they set up a yearly ‘Sky Clinic’ – a 4 day activity which offers free health check ups to the public, they help to organize the yearly Vegetarian Food Festival, support ‘Car Free Day’ to better the air quality and even donated money to help the earthquake victims of Nepal. We are very proud and honoured to have Khun Keeree and the BTS as our supporters. With their help, we will continue to do our best to improve the lives of elephants in Asia.

As well, we owe a special thanks to Khun Nuna Silpa Archa who is a huge supporter of SEF and is completely dedicated to helping Asian Elephants. Khun Nuna works non-stop to be their voice. The elephants of Thailand are very lucky to have a strong woman like Khun Nuna fighting for them.
