Owen Wilson, Lake Bell and more visit ENP
The past few months, Chiang Mai has played host to Hollywood, thanks to the filming of the action movie, “The Coup.”
Of course, no visit to Thailand’s second-largest city is complete without a trip up to Elephant Nature Park. We were fortunate to welcome stars Owen Wilson and Lake Bell, who play a married couple in the film, as well as actresses Claire Geare and Sterling Jerins, plus brothers film director John Erick Dowdle and producer Drew Dowdle.
The most beautiful part?
One visit to Lek and the elephants wasn’t enough!
Both Owen and Lake returned two more times to the park on their breaks from filming. Both of them were so kind and loving, taking time to pose with fans, staff, volunteer and the animals.
“If you imagine the celebrity as remote from the people, then Owen redefines that image,” said Lek. “He is so down-to-earth and friendly with those visiting.”
We are so honored to have had them at the park, and have appreciated their time with us as they learned about all of our magnificent creatures.
Owen and Lake are truly wonderful and warm-hearted and we look forward to having them return to our herd soon.
Be sure to check out “The Coup” when it hits theaters next year!
