Mae Boon Ma

Mae Boon Ma was born around 1955. Her name means ‘Mother Merit Come’. She arrived to ENP in 2003 from a life of trekking, logging and illegal logging. Mae Boon Ma is an unofficial ‘White Elephant’. She does not have all of the qualities needed to be a true white elephant, but she has white tail hair, mottled white skin and white toenails. She is a very unique looking elephant.

Mae Boon Ma is best friends with Mae Bua Loy and Lucky. She is easy going and gets along pretty well with most other elephants.
