A new friend of Yai Boon

Yai Boon and Yai Bua had a nightmare together in which they used to work together in a tourist camp. When Yai Boon first arrived, we took her to visit Yai Bua, but Yai Bua can no longer walk long distances, and she has her close companion, Sri Pai, who always accompanies her. So we also had tried to introduce Yai Boon to others among our herds at Elephant Nature Park, letting them visit daily  and get them to know each other by step bey step as her strength improved. Finally,  Yai Boon showed  her interest in Di Por, one of our loner old elephants who we rescued December 5th 2015 . Dipor is a lame elephant, injured from logging work.

It’s so wonderful to see Yai Boon open  friendship and good company. With time perhaps others who are still separate will join this happy fellowship.
