Elephant Kingdom

In March of 2016, three elephants were escorted to Ban Lao by a group of volunteers.  Nong Pop, Kham Pang, and Mae Pon were chosen to live in this new area because they are physically healthy and able to climb mountain sides if needed.  The journey took two days from Elephant Nature Park and along the way the stopped at many villages for food for the three elephants. Since then, they have been living in the forested mountains enjoying the freedom to roam as they please away from tourists.
