Thong Koon arrived at Elephant Haven in 2009 from Chomponburi in the Surin Province. At 40 years old, she takes her time walking slowly through the grass. Preferring to eat the younger leaves which are easier to digest, Thong Koon looks much older than her young age of 40. Her working life was spent in the trekking industry, but she had also been used in several movies.
