Noi Nah

Born around 1945, Noi Nah (meaning Custard Apple) arrived to ENP on June 19th 2015. Despite a long working life, Noi Nah has no injuries except for being blind in her right eye.  She was rescued from trekking, where she was being used daily to give rides, despite being emaciated. In the past, Noi Nah also worked in logging and illegal logging.

Upon arrival to ENP, Noi Nah was put on a special diet and has gained weight quickly. She has lots of energy and moves quickly. For now, she keeps to herself as she is unpredictable around other elephants and people.
