Grateful for your generous financial support ,we want to update you that Save Elephant Foundation has already sent funds for food subsidizing 1745 elephants throughout Thailand. We are also helping 1390 mahouts who registered with us, requesting assistance during this jobless time. From the beginning of the COVID crisis we provided help to the elephant in the North and the South. We have sent funds for 3 months already. As time went by, people began to realize the scope of the problem, and elephant owners contacted me ever more often requiring help with feeding their elephant. Some owners only knew of our relief effort from the news, so we are thankful for the media coverage to direct our caring effectively.

On behalf of all elephants and their mahout families in Thailand, I would like to thank all of you for your generous support. Let us hope for a swift resolution to this societal disruption, and pray that even from troublesome times, good may come of it.

Many changes are needed to create a better world, and many markers have been given during this time to illuminate the sage path forward. A return to business as usual would be misguided. For the elephant and all wild animals, for ourselves and the natural world that sustains us, may we choose wisely and, in all humility, resolute to a safe, common, and kinder world.
