Diabla – Sponsor Update April 2019

Diabla is still a very sweet girl, we love spending time with her, we have been trying our best with her recently to heal a pressure wound on her side, she always drags around in the same body position, and got a pretty nasty wound near her redundant hip.

Our management of this has been to keep her in her own crate through the night, and limit her exposure to the tile floor in the run, but that hasn’t stopped her getting lots of attention, we put her in her wheelchair in the run so she can still walk around and play without effecting the wound, and of course the weekly volunteers love spending time with her for her daily walk, she likes to take her time and hang out with her favourite volunteers every day.

She is still very sociable with the dogs in her run, of which there are 12 now, and is very easygoing, sweet girl.
