Jenny’s Happy Tale
And here is Jenny’s Happy Tale! A big thanks to Ann-Katrin, a lot of others probably won’t have given her that chance after Jenny bit a volunteer! We are very thankful for that!
In July 2016 I volunteered at the Elephant Nature Park and also spent a lot of time at the dog shelter. One day one of the other volunteers asked me if I could sit with Jinny a while because she had to be separated in the clinic and was whimpering a lot. So I sat with her for a while and simply fell in love – I couldn’t deny that she really stole my heart. While the 4 months of quarantine her condition got worse and worse. She was always a bit snappy towards other dogs but in that time she also got aggressive towards volunteers and also bite one. This was a sign for me that she really needed a loving home and someone she can trust in. Now that she is here for already two months I can say that she is such an uncomplicated and lovely dog. She adjusted really well and manages new situations with ease. She’s a bit shy and careful when meeting people she doesn’t know but if you give her time she gets used to them very easy. Jinny loves really long walks, catching mice, getting belly rubs and sitting on my lap. She walks perfectly on the leash and we go to doggy school every week. She’s a little princess and knows how to get what she wants with still being super cute. I’m so happy to have her. Thanks to ENP and all the people around it helping to bring her home.
