Douglas – sponsor update July 2015

Douglas has had quite a few clinic adventures lately. About 2 months ago he became a blood donor for a very sick dog and so saved his life. But then a month after he made us all really worried about him. He kept bleeding from his nose quite a few times every day and lost quite some blood with it. We were so worried that he first had a night in one of the volunteer’s room with care and attention throughout the night and then he had a couple of nights at a 24/7 hospital to make sure he was fine. We think it was a blood parasite that caused his bleeding, thankfully he is totally fine again, back in his run and active as usual.
