E.T.’s Happy Tale
AND HERE IS E.T.’s HAPPY TALE!! Thank you Tamara!!!
So Noodles (formerly known as E.T.) has been with us for a little over a month now and she is doing great.
The 12 hour flight to the Netherlands was a piece of cake for her. But on her first days here it was snowing and freezing and she did not like that very much, so we bought her a warm jacket.
Going for a walk was something she had to get used to, she just didn’t saw the point in pooping in public and would rather do this in her private backyard.
She is a very sweet dog, wich we had already noticed when we first saw her in September last year. She loves to be lazy all day long and either sleep on de the couch or in her soft bed.
She already has a nickname ‘the Queen’, because she likes to be treated like one and be kissed on her paws. She keeps on putting them in your face.
Until now everything has been rather easy with her. She can watch the house when we are working without making a mess of things. She is friendly and super smart! We went to the vet, the big city of Rotterdam and to the woods without any problems. There is a lot for her to get used to, but we are so proud of her the way she handles it. The only ‘difficulty’ we experience is her somewhat dislike for our cat and her pickiness for food. But even with that we can already see her changing.
People often ask why we would go trough all this ‘trouble’ just for a dog.
And sometimes we ask ourselfs if we did good by taking her away from her old life and her friends, until we see her sleeping so peacefully and can’t believe it has only been a few weeks.
Adopting a DOG wont change the world, but for that DOG his or hers world will definitely change! And that is all that matters…
