RIP Socks – Sponsor Update October 2016

This is the kind of Sponsor Update we all hate to write.  Socks passed away last month after a bad bout of pneumonia.  The vets tried everything, blood transfusions (here is Socks with the uber-healthy Douglas donating blood to help save her).  Unfortunately, Socks was not able to recover.  We are headed into the pneumonia season, so everyone is keeping a close eye on all the dogs, watching for signs so it can be caught early.
